Just a 5-minute drive away is Lake Pressegg (Pressegger See), one of the warmest lakes in Carinthia. Known as the “bathtub of the Gailtal”, it reaches water temperatures of up to 28 °C and has excellent water quality.
In 30 minutes you can also reach Lake Weissensee, the highest bathing lake in Carinthia. There is also swimming at the natural pool in Radnig and in the surrounding outdoor pools (Kirchbach, Wertschach, Weissbriach or the Aquarena in Kötschach-Mauthen).
Our beautiful Gailtal offers countless leisure activities such as hiking, climbing, cycling, mountain biking, golf, tennis, horse riding and much more …
We are also close to the “three-country corner”. In about 30 minutes you can reach neighbouring Italy and Slovenia with their many attractions. And a trip to the sea is easy too – the Mediterranean is only about 2 hours away.
