Ice skating
In winter Lake Weissensee freezes over and becomes one of Europe's largest natural ice surfaces. Lake Pressegg, only a few kilometres away, is also great for skating.
Cross-country skiing
The Nassfeld-Pressegger See region has one of the largest cross-country networks in Carinthia – as a change from downhill, for quiet laps away from the slopes or for training.
Enjoying nature
Away from the slopes, the snowy winter landscape is best explored on snowshoes.
